Release - Launcher 4.4.1 Follow
Introduction
We've made some updates to the Launcher!
What's New?
This week's Launcher release includes updates to our safety system and headset streaming error detection, to help guide GMs if related software or hardware is misbehaving.
Safety system update
We have improved our error detection for the safety system to now check for outdated calibrations. If your system has an outdated calibration, a message will appear on the GM screen:
-
“Outdated Calibration, new calibration required."
If you see this message, please aim to do a new Game Space calibration within 24 hours to avoid potential player safety issues.
A calibration only takes 5 minutes. The following articles can assist you:
Headset streaming error detection
We have improved our headset software error detection to better detect headset streaming errors and inform GMs with clear resolution instructions. If your system recognises a streaming issue with the headset, a message will appear on the GM screen:
-
“Streaming error: Set to standby, then active”
If GM’s see this message, they will likely resolve the issue by placing the headset on standby, then bringing that headset back into the active state. If this doesn’t solve the issue your headset experiences, please open a support ticket.
