Release - Launcher 4.5.0

Introduction

This week's launcher update brings VBS (Vive Business Streaming) to all venues, and comes with some minor improvements to the Game Master UI.

What's New?

VBS

With this update, all venues will now be running VBS as their software streaming solution.

VBS brings many improvements to the Zero Latency experience for players and operators, including:

• Improved Streaming Bitrate

• Improved Player-to-Player communication quality

• Unlocking future compatibility with VR hardware and software

GM UI Improvements

We have made some minor improvements to the GM UI to improve legibility and compliance with personal identifiable information requirements.

• Improved legibility of Equipment Number, Player Name, and Player Alias by increasing the size of text displayed in the player viewport.

• Replaced Player Last Name with just the first letter of the last name, to comply with personal identifiable information requirements.
