Known issues
Below is a list of known issues and their workarounds. If you encounter these problems and they affect your session, please let us know. Your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.
Excluded from this list are smaller artistic issues with placement of objects in the world which do not affect gameplay.
| Issue | Workaround |
| Game Ratings can not yet be viewed (i.e. Not shown in any reports in the Portal) | None available. We are currently working on a way to get this information to you. |
| We are investigating bugs where sometimes the Player Takeaway Video may take up to 10 minutes to generate or may not generate at all. | Currently no workaround or recovery steps. We're aiming to resolve this before launch. |
| The bouncing arrow will not show for the waypoint in the airlock in Quarantine 1 | Players will see the waypoint and feet on the ground. If they're unclear advise them to walk onto this. |
|
Player character models can be in awkward positions.
In particular the “Left handed” profile option is not fully supported - Players holding guns in their left hand will appear slightly contorted to other players regardless of the profile setting. |
No workaround is required - affected players will see their own gun correctly and gameplay experience is not impacted. |
| Zombie models sometimes appear highly distorted/stretched on Game Master and Spectator screens. | No workaround is required |
|
All players in correct waypoint but can't progress, OR a player says that all single waypoints are taken up by someone already.
|
Pause the game and double check that there is a maximum of 4x players on each team colour. (3x players on each team if using Quantum Arena). Also double check there are no players in an "Unassigned" team. This can come about due to GM manually assigning too many people to a team, or swapping headsets and resuming the game too fast before the player's profile has pulled the details of which team they were previously on. If a headset swap has taken place make sure the new headset is assigned the profile of the player who swapped to it before resuming gameplay. |
| After killing snowman, player's weapons vanish. | Rare issue, but if it happens, put the headset and standby and then activate it again. Players default weapon should return so gameplay can be resumed. |
|
Player taking damage but can not see why. Invisible zombie attacking player, can only be seen by some |
Issue happens occasionally in Outbreak, Space Marine also but happens more often in Slay Season. Seems to be some sort of de-sync with the player's client and server. Player can NOT kill it, even with grenades shooting at their feet. We're still investigating. Work Around:- If another player can see the zombie they can kill it, otherwise the player being attacked will need to keep moving. |
|
On Spectator and GM views, you will sometimes see bright flashes from weapon's fire which looks like graphical glitches. Effect even more pronounce with Outbreak Slay Season |
No workaround is required Fundamental flaw with Unreal rendering of Split Screen views when certain particle effects are displayed. |
