How do I know if a headset is powered on?
- This is the main Launcher lobby screen. If there are no headsets on, the lobby will appear like the image below.
- When headsets are turned on and have loaded in, the Launcher will display the point of view of each player.
- In this example, a single headset has loaded in.
How do I change the game?
- To change the game, click on the "Change" button on the bottom left next to the game name.
- A window will appear allowing you to change the game.
- When you select the game, it will take approx 5-10 seconds to load.
How do I start a game?
Using Player Profiles
To start the game, all players must have a profile.
- In this example, the players profile is currently "No Profile", which is why the Launcher won't let you start the game.
- Hover over to the top right Settings, select Sessions and select the session time to load the correct player data.
Info
If there are no sessions booked, then nothing will be listed in this section.
- When the players step into their profile waypoints or shoot their display name, their name on the Launcher will change.
- When every player has a profile, the game can start.
Using Test Profiles
- The alternative option is to select a test session.
Warning
This should only be used for testing and troubleshooting purposes. This should not be used for paying customers as they will not receive any results for their sessions.
- As soon as that button is clicked, all the headsets will automatically assign a test profile from Player 1 to Player 8.
- When every player has a profile, the game can start.
How do I interact with a headset?
If you hover over the player's profile, you will see:
- The number of the headset on the left, with the players full name on top and display name underneath.
- The headset name and battery percentage.
- The controller name and battery percentage.
- The Streaming Server the headset is connected to.
- The headset controls (Restart, Standby, Shutdown).
- The "Flash LED's" button will flash the LED's on the controller associated with the headset in the physical game space.
Restart
- The Restart button restarts the headset and streaming server. This is used for troubleshooting and takes 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Standby
- The Standby button places a headset on standby mode. The headset will not interrupt the game. The Standby process takes a few seconds.
Shutdown
- The Shutdown button will power off the headset. It takes a minute or so to complete the process.
How do I interact with a profile on a headset?
If you click on the player's profile, it will open additional options. The following is what you will see:
- Select Profile: Manually select the player profiles within the session.
- Find Profile: Find a profile from the sessions booked for the current day at your site.
- Language: Select a language for the specific player (If available).

What happens when a game ends?
When the game ends, a window will appear with the following options:
- Click on the "Continue" button if the customers are going to play another game.
- Click on the "End Session" button if the customers are not going to play another game. This will place all active Headsets on Standby.
Caution
There is a 30-second timer that will automatically place all active headsets into a Standby state if no option is selected within this time.
- This is then followed by a window to rate the session from 1-5 stars.
Info
More information on ending a session and low-rated sessions can be found in the following:

Sessions
- As explained in How do I start a game? this is where the session data is located allowing the players to select their profile in-game.

Volume
- This provides the Game Master with the option to lower the in-game volume of the session(s) without reducing the volume of player communications - to hear player more clearly.
- Often Game Masters choose to lower the volume so that player communications are louder in comparison.
Info
The volume is only adjusted for the Game Master and this will not impact the player's volume. Mic volume will remain the same.

- This will display the same options as explained in How do I interact with the headset?.
- Selecting the Details option will show information about the headset such as Headset details, which controller is bound, Software Versions, creating or updating a map and Pairing tracker controllers.
Servers
- The Servers tab shows the number of Streaming Servers, the status and which Headset is connected to which Streaming Server.
- Selecting the 3 dots icon near the server heading will show the options to Shutdown all, Restart all or Wake up All of the Streaming servers.
