This article provides information on the known issues and workarounds in Haunted.
Known issues
Below is a list of known issues and their workarounds. If you encounter these problems and they affect your session, please let us know. Your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.
Excluded from this list are smaller artistic issues with placement of objects in the world which do not affect gameplay.

| Can not view gameplay on the Spectator screen and no score is shown on the scoreboard. |
This is intended. To avoid game spoilers for spectators gameplay footage is only shown on the Game master screen. There is no gameplay mechanic that tracks any sort of score in Haunted. |
| If the Experience appears to have stalled because a player doesn’t know where to go next or has wandered into an area where its hard to guide them back. | As a last resort you can reset them by toggling their headset to Standby and back on Active. This resets their view back into the Hub; but they will likely miss out on playing through that event. |
| Players will see characters/jump scares which are not conveyed through the GM screen. This includes ghostly woman jumping out and walking towards individual players. | N/a |
| Sound effects on the GM screen will reflect what a single player may be experiencing, but other players may hear the sounds at different times | N/a |
| Some text/audio may not be heard in chosen language |
Language assets (text/audio) sometimes fail to load properly when the profile changes language after startup.

| Some effects like bright reflections or light halos only appearing in one eye of the VR headset when viewed at certain angles. | Quirk of how how Unreal Engine renders to VR headsets, each case needs to be addressed individually, many instances known. |
| Player characters seem taller, thinner than real life people | Partly how scaling is handled in our games, partly how VR renders in game characters. After much tweaking, this is at a state where no further changes are likely. |
| Final radio broadcast plays saying no more doors will open, yet rooms to red hallway do open still. | Known issue, unlikely to be seen by groups of players, but solo or two players may encounter this. Its okie to enter the door and play through the sequence again, it does not break the game. Final ending sequence will still play at when they exit or at 13mins. |
| Players may encounter the red-lit "Bedroom" event twice before the game ends |
Two instances of the "Bedroom" exist. With multiple players, they are split between instances, making repeats rare. Solo players are more likely to see it twice. A fix is planned for a future update. |
| Last player to walk through open door does not correctly join the events, is left standing in the void and has to go back to the Hub. |
Known issue, fix coming in future patch. Should happen rarely. Has to do with Client / Server desync when doors closes. Sadly may affect some players. No work around other than to ask player to return to Hub and wait for their friends to return. |
