Introduction
This article provides information on the known issues and workarounds in Outbreak 2.
Known issues
Below is a list of known issues and their workarounds. If you encounter these problems and they affect your session, please let us know. Your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.
Excluded from this list are smaller artistic issues with placement of objects in the world which do not affect gameplay.

| Boss is stuck after it tried to jump away. Seems to be constantly flailing its arms / as if its trying to fly. Can not kill the boss, can not end the game. |
This is a priority fix for us. We've found the cause of the issue and are intending to deploy a patch as soon as possible. |
| If the game is Paused and headsets are restarted, players may load back in and not see the Shopping Mall. | This is expected due to the way the level art is streamed in. The level will be displayed once the game has been un-paused and play has resumed. |
| Changing a player's Team mid game may prevent them from progressing |
It is not recommended to change a player's team after the game has started. Make sure players are in their chosen team in Loadout before beginning the main game. Changing teams mid game does not work robustly yet and can break progression if done at the wrong time. Additional fixes for this is still being worked on. |
| In rare occasions the player may see a black void with a grid for a second or two. |
There is no workaround, and we're working on resolving this. It usually only isolated to a small number of points in the game. |

Boss will lose health quickly when shot Especially if the players are running over time (~26+mins) |
There is no workaround. This is the expected game behaviour to have the session end on time. |
| Some zombies noticeably get stuck when trying to make their way to players |
The levels are being updated constantly and require updated navigation periodically. This should be much reduced since Release and we'll be keeping an eye out for instances where this happens often |
| Some voice lines playing at incorrect times, mainly ones that hint that a battle has finished while there are still zombies attacking | No workaround is required |
| Zombie models sometimes appear highly distorted/stretched on Game Master and Spectator screens. | No workaround is required |
| On Spectator and GM views, you will sometimes see bright flashes from weapon's fire which looks like graphical glitches. |
No workaround is required This is an issue with Unreal Engine rendering of Split Screen views when certain particle effects are displayed. |
| After a battle is finished, Special Weapon pickups remain, slowing down players as they rush back to collect them before moving on. |
This is by design Leftover Special Weapons can be picked up, but they won’t respawn after the fight. We’ve found players enjoy collecting a fresh special weapon so they are prepared for the next battle. The next battle duration is shorted if they take too long to collect the weapons. |
| Game Masters can not see blue glowing guides in each player view; thus is will be hard to guide players to the correct location if they are lost | Be familiar with how traversal works in the game and the location the player is lost. Take the players headset and walk them through the portal or the correct section of game space they need to be |

Player can not see a portal to go through; but portal is visible on GM screen. Or player is trying to follow a path guide but its leading them into a safety wall. |
Recently identified issue with players making their way through the game area and the logic for handling it becoming desynced. Aiming to fix more robustly soon. Work around. Put player's headset on Standby, then Re-Activate. They should be taken back to the correct location in the game world so they can see active portals to walk through. If not, leave stuck player on standby and have other players continue game. Once they trigger next rally point waypoint or next battle begins, you can reactivate the stuck player and they can play as normal. |

Fixed in v2.0.6 This happens if players are fast tracked before they reach the Security Office. No work around. The boss model that is standing still, is harmless and can not be affected by weapons fire. Aiming to have fixed in future patch. |
