This game uses Parallel Play
To enhance freedom and exploration, the game uses our new mechanic Parallel Play - allowing players to move ahead into new levels without waiting for their group.
Portals
Players advance through the experience using Portals, following the wayfinding path to locate them. Waypoints will still appear at specific moments to trigger events or interactions.Red Safety Avatars
Because players may occupy the same physical space while exploring different virtual areas, anyone nearby in a different location will appear as a red safety avatar. This helps everyone stay aware of their surroundings and move safely around each other.
Catch-up Mechanics
- The game will adjust to give players 27 minutes of play time. Any time paused by the GM does not count and will extend the session time.
The duration of encounters will be made shorter or longer depending on the pace that players are moving through the game.
If players have not reached the boss by 24 minutes, they will be automatically teleported there. Along with a voice line to explain it. This will ensure they remain on time and don't miss out on this moment.
