Release - Launcher 4.19 Follow
Introduction
This week’s Launcher release introduces a quality-of-life improvement to help Game Masters quickly identify and resolve player audio issues during sessions.
What's New?
Player Headset Volume Visibility
Each player’s headset volume level is now displayed directly within that player’s window in the Launcher.
This allows Game Masters to quickly see when a player’s volume may be set too low and provide guidance to help them hear:
Game audio
Game Master instructions
Other player communications
The volume indicator is visible in both collapsed and expanded player views.
When a player’s volume is set very low, the indicator will change colour:
Orange for low volume (~30%)
Red for very low volume (0%)
Player Headset Volume Alert
A new alert, “Headset Volume is low”, will now appear in a player’s window when their headset volume drops below the ‘low level’ threshold (~30%).
This alert makes it clear to Game Masters that a player has likely accidentally lowered their volume.
Combined with the visible volume indicator, this allows GMs to quickly identify the issue and help improve the player’s audio experience before it impacts gameplay.
