Settings: Email Templates Follow
Introduction
The Email Templates page is used to control the text and aesthetic of email templates that customers receive.
Who can use this feature?
Any user that has access to the "Admin" user permission can use this feature.
If you do not have access to this feature, please speak to your Operations Manager.

How do I set up the Email Templates?
What is this section used for?
This section controls the text and aesthetic of email templates that customers receive. The Email Templates page contains the following:
- Master Email Template
- New Booking
- Reminder
- Game Results
- Booking Register
- Credit Change
Caution
Changes to these fields will impact the emails that customers receive from Zero Latency. Make sure everything is correct before you save. Also, customers will receive a reminder 7 days before their session and one day before (this applies only to those customers who book in advance).
- The first step is to ensure there is a "Reply Email" and "From Email".
- The "From Email" is important because it sends emails to the customers. This MUST be a zerolatencyvr.com domain to work. An example of this email would be bookings@zerolatencyvr.com
- The "Reply Email" is important because it receives emails from the customers. An example of this email would be contact@yourmail.com
Caution
If there is no "Reply" or "From" email set up, the customers will not receive any important emails from Zero Latency. Also, you can use the same Reply/From email.
The site can opt to have a "Low Experience" email.
- Tick the checkbox and enter a number in the field. This number means that anything at or below this number will trigger an email to the "Reply Email" of the site.
- In this example, the Reply Email will receive a Low Experience email if they receive a survey rating of 5 or below.
- You can make changes in a different language depending on your site by using the language dropdown.
- Select the email template you would like to change.
- When you are complete, click the "Save" button.
- In this example, we are using the New Booking template.
- Similar to the Content page, if you tick the "Use Default" checkbox, it will automatically insert the template (If it is available) and therefore will not use your custom email template.

Please note, if you tick the "Use Default" checkbox you will see a grey screen with an error. This occurs because the system is blocking you from making any changes.
- If you tick the "Use Master Template" checkbox. It will insert this template into the {Body} of the Master Template (when the customer receives an email).
- The Master Template can be styled any way you like, just make sure the {Body} placeholder is included.
- If you want to test out the email template you have just created, you can click on the "Send Test" button.
- This will send an email to your inbox and input your player data into each placeholder.
Placeholders
In all templates, you will see many placeholders {}. This will input customer data automatically when they receive an email.
Caution
It is imperative that you do not delete these placeholders otherwise the customer's information will not be automatically included in the email.
Some links in the templates also contain placeholders. These will direct the customer to their specific URLs.
