Controller Assembly (Hand Tracker)

Introduction

Follow these instructions to assemble the Controllers.

Danger

You cannot run mixed controller sets at a Venue. If you are planning to upgrade to the Controller 4s you will need to upgrade your entire controller set.

Tools & Equipment Required

• Box Cutter
• Screwdriver
• Phillips Head Attachment
• Controller
• Hand Tracker

Step 1: Remove from carton

• Find the cartons marked as Game Controller.

Step 2: Fit Rail Mount

• There will be a number of Rail Mounts supplied inside the carton marked Game Controller.

• Take the Rail Mount and place it over the final slot on the Game Controller.

• Place the supplied screw through the hole and tighten the screw to the railing of the Game Controller using the Allen key provided.

Step 3: Fit Sling

• There will be a number of slings supplied inside the carton marked Game Controller.

• Pull back the fabric covering the clip on the end of the sling.

• Push the lever of the clip on the string in and hook it onto the ring on the rail mounted that you attached to the controller in step 2.

Step 4: Fit HTC hand tracker

• Remove the left Hand Tracker from its box.
• Remove the hand strap at the end of the Tracker.

• Use the Screwdriver, Preset Torque, 1.2Nm to loosen the Focus 3 Tracker Mount.

• You do not need to remove the Focus 3 Tracker Mount, only loosen it to allow space for the tracker.
  

• Hold the tracker so that the ring is facing upwards and to the back of the Game Controller.

• Gently push the tracker into position into the Focus 3 Tracker Mount on the top of the Game Controller.

• Use the Screwdriver, Preset Torque, 1.2Nm to grip the Focus 3 Tracker Mount.
