How to check your Floor Height

There is a quick and easy way to check your floor height to see if it needs to be adjusted.

Load in and check your floor height

• On your GM PC, swap to Outbreak, and leave it loaded into the lobby.
• Take a single HMD and controller into the game space.
• Ensure your have tracking on the HMD and controller.
• Gently lay the controller down on the ground.
• There should be a small gap between the controller and in game floor, usually less than 10cm (approx 4 inches).
• If there is a gap larger than about 10cm (approx 4 inches) then proceed with the steps laid out in

How else can I tell if the floor height needs to be fixed?

• You may see your controller (when sitting on the floor in the real world) phasing or clipping through the virtual floor.
• You may see your controller (when sitting on the floor in the real world) sitting too far above the virtual floor.
