YOUR ROLE
The Operations Manager manages and motivates their team to perform to their highest standards. They oversee all aspects of the venue from customers, staff, and suppliers. The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the operational standards and success of the site are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer relations via email, phone and Facebook
- Promote, sell, organise and manage corporate events
- Manage a team of Game Masters, Team Leaders and Service Technicians
- Schedule staff, manage wages, review timesheets, conduct performance reviews and recruit staff
- Creating, reviewing and amending policies and processes to improve operations and efficiency
- Monitor and manage the venues and Operations team KPI’s and performance
- Collate and evaluate operational matters and reporting them to the Support and Development team for review
- Liaise with the Client Services team to manage hardware and technical issues, submit tickets (Zen Desk) and resolve issues
- Liaise with the Support, Development and Deployment team to deploy, trial and review upgraded software, hardware and games
- Liaise with the Marketing team to create strategies and execute campaigns to increase ticket sales and retention, manage social media and attract new customers
- Liaise with the Finance team to manage the venue's financials including reporting, budgeting and P/L
- Office management and venue maintenance including rubbish collection, garden maintenance, stock take etc.
- First point of contact for operational emergencies outside of business hours
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum 4 years in operations management, preferably in the entertainment/hospitality industry
- Experience in managing teams
- Passionate about leading and building teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Takes initiative when presented with a problem
- A hard and dedicated worker
WORKING HOURS
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join us on a full-time basis.
