YOUR ROLE
We are looking for Team Leaders who can lead a brand new team and deliver Zero Latency’s world leading experience with great energy and professionalism.
You will oversee the Zero Latency site and Game Masters when the Operations Manager is unavailable. You will be responsible for opening and closing the venue, managing customer enquiries and complaints, and running game sessions. Your priority is ensuring player safety, delivering high-end customer service experiences and supporting the Operations Team.
Responsibilities include:
- Customer greeting, check-in, suit-up and suit-down
- Presenting the player safety briefing
- Managing in-game sessions and ensuring player safety
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and recording technical issues
- Maintenance of Virtual Reality equipment
- Supporting the Operations Manager
- Selling merchandise
- Opening and closing the venue
WHO YOU ARE
- 2+ years of customer experience in the entertainment/hospitality industry
- At least 1 year in a leadership position
- Ability to manage overexcited customers
- Comfortable managing high-pressure situations, with the ability to actively and quickly resolve potential issues
- Strong and engaging oral presentation skills
- Experience working in small and large teams
- Demonstrated patience and understanding when managing customer expectations
- Taking accountability for your work and decisions
- A passion for VR, gaming and technology
- Available weeknights and weekends
You must be reliable, punctual and well-presented with the ability to prioritise tasks and work in a team. As the Team Leader, the team will refer to you when issues arise but your daily responsibilities will not differ significantly from those of our Game Masters.
WORKING HOURS
We are looking for Team Leaders to join our team on a casual basis, working an average of 16-18 hours per week, primarily over weeknights and weekends.
