During the pandemic, there has been a large increase in phishing attempts around the world. This article will show you an example of a phishing attempt and inform you of the steps to take.
What is phishing?
Phishing is the fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information or data, such as usernames, passwords and credit card details, by disguising oneself as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication
Here is an example of a suspicious phishing email that one of our venues received.
What should I do?
- Always review the sender's email address carefully to ensure that it is coming from a genuine Zero Latency email address.
- If you believe that an email is suspicious or a phishing attempt, do not respond to the email, please take a screenshot of the email, delete the email and contact Client Services for verification.
