Step 3: Install Your Wireless Access Points Follow

Installation of the Wireless Access Points that allows connections to the system via Wifi.

Tools & Equipment Required
- Box Cutter
- Network Switch
- Wireless Access Points
- Cat6 cables
Locate the Wireless Access Point box
Mount the Wireless Access Point
Connect the Wireless Access Point to the Network Switch
Locate the Wireless Access Point box
- Locate the box labelled Wireless Access Point.
Mount the Wireless Access Point
- Mount the Wireless Access Points to the appropriate location in the Game Space with at least a 2m space between each of the WAPs. A central location with a line of sight of the entire Game Space is ideal without any obstructions.
Warning
All access points must be mounted with a minimum of 2m between them and central to the game space otherwise it will cause network connectivity issues.
- Ensure you connect the Ethernet cable to the correct port on the Access Points. Use the below images to identify which port to use.

Connect the Wireless Access Point to the Network Switch
- Connect a Cat 6 cable from the Wireless Access Points to any of ports 21-24 on the Network Switch.
- For reference, the LED status of the Access Points can be found below:
- Orange - AP is booting (permanent Orange suggests hardware issue)
- Rainbow - AP is initializing/scanning
- Blinking Blue - AP is upgrading
- Green - AP in Gateway mode with no clients
- Blue - AP in Gateway mode with clients
- Blinking Orange - AP can't find uplink

The Wireless Access Points are Power over Ethernet (PoE) so no separate power supply is required.
