Step 6: Install Your Game Master Station

Introduction

Installation of the PC that the Game Masters use to operate your VR system.

• Box Cutter
• Network Switch
• Game Master PC
• 2x Monitors (Display Port Cables)
• Keyboard and Mouse (GM Keyboard Sticker)
• Game Master Headphones
• Power Cables
• Cat6 Cables

Locate the Game Master Equipment boxes

• Locate the box labelled Game Master Station.

There will be multiple boxes labelled Game Master Station, including a Support Phone which will be installed in another step.

Setup the Game Master Equipment

• Set up the Game Master PC under/on the game master table.
• Connect both monitors to the back of the Game Master PC via the Display port. Alternatively, you can connect a monitor to the HDMI port. 

Danger

Do not use the Display ports on the Motherboard as they have been disabled.

 

• Connect the Keyboard, Mouse and Headphones to any USB slots at the rear of the Game Master PC.

• Connect a power cable to the Game Master PC.

• The Game Master PC will turn on automatically once connected to power.

Connect the Game Master to the Network Switch

• Connect a Cat 6 cable from the back of the Game Master PC to Port 5 on the Network Switch.

• Power and Cat 6 cables are provided in a separate box.

For systems with 2 network ports present, the network port lower on the PC should be used

 

• Inform the Client Services agent that this is completed so they can perform other tasks remotely.

Once the Game Master PC has been turned on, you may be prompted with an option to allow your network to be discoverable. If the prompt is visible, select "Yes".
