Introduction
During the game, there can be a headset software crash that can cause the following event.
This crash has been observed to happen in any game, with any number of players, and at any time in the game.
Step 2: Verify the Headset and Controller have reconnected successfully
What are the symptoms?
Game Master View:
- "Positional Tracking Lost" warning is shown on the GM screen.
- The player view on the game master screen is frozen, and there is no movement even if the player is looking around.
- The battery percentage is 0%.
Headset/Player View:
- Player view through the headset will most likely be in the Loader view.
Step 1: Restart the Headset
- Restart the Headset via the launcher.
Step 2: Verify the Headset and Controller have reconnected successfully
- Once the headset has been rebooted, confirm via the Launcher if the headset is now receptive when physically moved and the player is back in the game.
- If the following error is visible on the game master PC "No Tracker Connected", switch off the hand tracker and power it on again.
