How do I Clean the Headphone Headband Protector?

This guide will provide instructions on how to remove and clean the Headphone Headband Protector (Gen 3).

5 minutes (not including washing and drying time)

Tools and Equipment Required

• HTC VIVE Focus 3 headsets
• Attached Headphone Headband Protector

Step 1: Removing the Headphone Headband Protector

• Twist and unzip the headband protector from the headband of the Headphones.

• Remove the headband protector from HMD.

Step 2: Cleaning the Headphone Headband Protector

• Place headband protectors into a washing machine on cold wash.
• Leave out to dry overnight.

Step 3: Reattached the Headphone Headband Protector

• Once the Headphone Headband Protectors are dry, place the headband protector underneath the headband with the smooth side facing upwards.

• Wrap the headband protector around the headband, then do up the zip on the headband protector.

• Twist the headband protector so the zip is now underneath the headband.
