Introduction
This article provides information on the known issues and workarounds in Space Marine VR.
Known issues
Below is a list of known issues and their workarounds. If you encounter these problems and they affect your session, please let us know. Your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.
Excluded from this list are smaller artistic issues with placement of objects in the world which do not affect gameplay.
Issues in Threat Lethal:

| If a team wipes in odd circumstances - such as during the transition section of a level, such as while in an elevator or lift then this may result in an issue with progression. But this should now only happen in rare cases |
When outside of a battle, if there is no waypoint for players to walk back to, they should auto respawn after 15 seconds. But if they do not; PAUSE the game, then RESUME play, this will help the game logic reassess the state of players. |

The last player dies at the same time they kill the boss. The players do not auto revive, and there is no checkpoint for them return to. |
This is the expected behaviour. All players will remain "dead", but the Thunderhawk dropship will arrive and the players can board it to complete the game. Its expected to be very rare to have cases where the players wipe after dealing the killing blow to the Hive Tyrant boss. |

The Generator Station can be confusing area for the teams to split. As it's the first time they split up and players may just follow other players. |
Only the Orange team needs to get onto the waypoint for progress to continue. Players can be given a simple instruction:
We previously tried adding a Blue waypoint, but it still caused confusion, as players continued to follow others instead of focusing on their own objective. This approach feels simpler, as it relies on only one team. |

In sessions with 6~8 people at sites using older HP G2 Backpack as streaming servers, they may experience large framerate drop (seems as if view may have frozen) for a number of seconds during the battle at Vault Outside This is not likely to happen as often any more, but we are still watching performance metrics

Framerate should return to normal when there are less enemies about. |

Blue glowing trail to lead players to next waypoint does not always show up, OR may lead players in strange directions.

Be alert that players may need directing to waypoints if they're getting confused. Lots of improvements have gone in with the release of 1.1.0+, so it should happen far less often now |
| Player can not hear the Voice dialog in the Language they have selected. OR The Game Master has changed the language for the player after the game has started but it has not taken effect. |
Put the player's headset into Standby, and then Activate it again. This restarts the game on the Streaming Server so it re-loads the correct language voice lines. |
| A player's gameplay sound will seem muffled or not very loud or as if they are underwater, even after they have increased the volume. |
Put the headset on Standby and then bring them back into the game. It can happen on the Game Master station. Will not affect operation, but ZL Launcher can be restarted (so the GM station game view restarts) and it should be back to normal. |
| All players in correct waypoint but can't progress, OR a player says that all single waypoints are taken up by someone already. |
Pause the game and double check that there is a maximum of 4x players on each team colour. (3x players on each team if using Quantum Arena). Also double check there are no players in an "Unassigned" team. This can come about due to GM manually assigning too many people to a team, or swapping headsets and resuming the game too fast before the player's profile has pulled the details of which team they were previously on. If a headset swap has taken place make sure the new headset is assigned the profile of the player who swapped to it before resuming gameplay. |
| Troubleshooting a player's headset during Relic World level is not supported, when a player loads back in after being on Standby or Restarting, their position and view may not be correct |
Leave the player on Standby until after the other players have transitioned back out to the city after they finish Relic World level. Ideally perform troubleshooting before or after Relic World. Not during. |

| In some scenes, if no one on a team is present for the highlight clip, that team will not receive a PTV at all. This can happen in the rare scenario that all players on a team drop out during the moment of recording. | |
| Enemies | |
| Hormagaunt animations sometimes freeze when jumping over barriers. | Improvements have been made with path finding in 1.1.1+ to reduce this issue. |

There have been rare times when enemies for some players or the GM/Spectator screen will become invisible. This is a new symptom and is being investigated |
Switch player to a different streaming server if possible or restart the streaming server. If problem reported by player and the above resolved it; make sure to switch to another game and back again BEFORE your next session of Space marine VR to flush out game memory from all the other systems. |

Players appear to be well clear of Hive Tyrant Boss leap attack danger area, but suddenly are killed by the attack. They may report seeing he boss suddenly curve around to kill them. This will be more obvious in Threat Lethal games as players are more sensitive to death and if they felt it was unfair. |
Issue is known and potential fix is on the horizon. |
