Settings: Open Times (Dual System) Follow
Introduction
The Open Times page is where you can make session times available for customers to book on the Booking System. This article aims to guide you through the process of configuring open times for a Dual System venue within the Portal, specifically when configuring a Dual System site, as there are some differences you should be aware of.

A Portal user requires the "Admin" user permission to be able to access this feature. Ensure that any user that is required to make changes to the Open Times has this permission selected within the user's settings.
If you do not have access to this feature, and you require access to this feature, please contact your Operation Manager.
How do I access this page?
- In the left hand menu, Click "Open Times".
Dual System Considerations
Before setting up Open Times for a Dual System site, there are a few things that should be considered.
Firstly, you need to ensure that you have 2 Game spaces correctly configured in the Portal. This is likely to have already been set up in a previous step.
If they are not set correctly, please contact Client Services.
- Ensure that you have 2 Game Spaces Configured
- Ensure that Game Space 1 is configured with Content Server 1
- Ensure that Game Space 2 is configured with Content Server 2
Secondly, when configuring Open Times, you need to ensure that there is a time offset between the sessions configured in Game Space 1 and Game Space 2. Generally, we would recommend an offset of 5-10 minutes.
This would look like:

| Game Space 2 | 09:05am - 05:05pm |
This needs to be done to ensure that there are not two 09:00am sessions in the Portal that may easily be confused if the customer is trying to coordinate a booking with friends.
Other offsets may be useful if you are running consistent session times. For instance, if all sessions are 30min session, you may wish to consider a 15min offset between your game spaces, so that you can decongest the sign-in and waiting rooms.
