[Dual System] - How to Complete Server Re-labelling and System Re-imaging (For System B)

Warning: This article is for Dual System only.

Introduction

When you first receive both your systems for a Dual Site, they will both be named
and configured to function as two separate systems. This guide will take you
through the process of re-labelling and re-imaging the machines in "System B"
so that they will function within a Dual site.

• ID Labels from inside Dual System Hardware Kit (ZL-03-17)
• USB Imaging drive, also from the Dual System Hardware Kit (ZL-03-17)
• Computer monitor
• Mouse
• Keyboard

Replace Machine ID Labels

Labels should be placed in the location shown below, making sure to replace only the labels for System B server:

Replace the labels on the System B machines according to the table below:

XX-XX represents your "Primary" site code, and YY-YY represents your "Secondary" (placeholder) site code .

Re-Image System B

Next we need to re-image the machines so that they are named the same as their brand new labels, and also to ensure that they are configured correctly.

For this process you will need:

• USB Imaging drive from the Dual System Hardware Kit (ZL-03-17)
• Each of the computers that need to be re-imaged (see table)

Using the re-imaging drive for this process. Follow the documentation below for each of the computers in the table below. 

Ensure that the name entered into the prompt during this process matches the new label that was placed on the machine in the previous step.

NOTE: The imaging process for the Front of House machine (FH) is different to the below documentation.
