Understanding the Cart Size Dashboard Follow
Introduction
The Cart Size dashboard shows the value and makeup of each transaction: how much customers spend per checkout, how many tickets they buy at once, and how often they add 'add-ons'. It's your go-to view for understanding transaction value and add-on performance.

Key Metrics
The cards at the top show your headline numbers for the period, each compared to the previous period.
- Carts - the number of transactions in the period.
- Avg Cart Value - average spend per transaction.
- Avg Tickets per Cart - how many tickets a typical cart contains.
- Avg Add-Ons per Cart - how many extras a typical cart contains.
Distributions
- Cart Net Value Distribution - a histogram of invoices by cart net value, so you can see where most of your carts land and whether high-value carts are growing.
- Ticket Count Distribution - invoices grouped by tickets per invoice, from solo buyers through to large groups.
Cart Composition
Shows the split between Tickets Only, Tickets + Digital Add-ons, and Digital Add-ons Only carts, so you can see how often customers combine tickets with extras.
Add-Ons
Split into Regular and Digital add-ons, showing Attach Rate, Avg Value, and Total Revenue for each, so you can see how well extras are converting.
Ways to Use This Dashboard
- Watch Avg Cart Value alongside Carts. More carts at a lower average value can still mean flat revenue, so read the two together.
- Use the Ticket Count Distribution to understand your typical group size. If most carts are 2 tickets, promotions built around groups of 4+ may lift cart value.
- A low attach rate is usually an opportunity, not a verdict. Check whether add-ons are visible in your booking flow and mentioned by staff at the venue.
- Compare the Cart Net Value Distribution against the previous period to see whether pricing or promotion changes shifted spend up or down.
Filters
Use the controls at the top of the dashboard: Scope (This venue or All venues), Date range, Compare to, Group by, and Packages. The Group value by control changes the bucket size on the Cart Net Value Distribution chart.
