Understanding the Private Events Dashboard Follow
Introduction
The Private Events dashboard tracks your private and group bookings: how many private events you're running, how many players they bring in, and how big those groups are. Private events are often your highest value bookings, so this view helps you see whether that side of the business is growing or slipping.

Key Metrics
The cards at the top show your headline numbers for the selected period, each compared to the previous period.
- Private Events - the number of private events held in the period.
- Total Players - how many players those events brought in.
- Avg Group Size - the average number of players per private event.
Trends Over Time
Two trend charts show how your private events activity is tracking across the selected range, with the previous period alongside for comparison.
- Private events over time - the number of private events per time bucket.
- Players in private events over time - the number of players attending private events per time bucket.
Group Size Distribution
Private bookings grouped by players in group, compared to the previous period. This shows whether your private events skew toward smaller parties or large corporate-style groups, and how that mix is shifting.
Ways to Use This Dashboard
- Read Private Events and Total Players together. Fewer events but more players means groups are getting bigger, which is often a healthier result than the event count alone suggests.
- Watch Avg Group Size over time. A rising average can point to growing corporate and celebration bookings, which may justify dedicated packages or catering partnerships.
- Use the Group Size Distribution to shape your offers. If most bookings sit in one group size band, build your private event packages and pricing around it, and create incentives to pull groups into the next band up.
- Compare against the previous period for seasonality. Private events often cluster around holidays, end of year functions, and school breaks, so a dip may just be timing.
