Portal User Security Follow
Introduction
This is an overview about all the different security features which are implemented into the Zero Latency Portal.
Locked accounts
- To prevent unwanted users from being able to log into Zero Latency's Portal, each account has 5 attempts to log into their account before it is locked
- To unlock the account contact your site's admin or a Client Service agent
- If you have admin level access you can unlock accounts following THIS article
- If you forget your password and have locked your account you will need to have your account unlocked AND have your password reset
Two-factor authentication
- You can strengthen your Portal's account security by setting up Two-factor authentication
- You can follow THIS article on how to set up Two-factor authentication
Blocked IP
- If no one is able to log into their Portal account on non Zero Latency devices that may mean your IP has been blocked
- Your IP can be blocked if 3 different users all have their accounts locked in succession
- To have your IP unblocked you will need to contact Client Services
